What We Do
Flea and Tick Prevention
Basic Steps:
-Keep your dog healthy and as free as possible of chemicals in his environment.
-Feed a species appropriate (preferably raw) diet along with some lightly steamed healthy vegetables.
-Avoid using toxic cleaning products in your home. Try Thieves cleaner.
-Avoid using chemical fertilizers in your yard. If your dogs may be exposed to ticks and fleas on occasion, add some additional protection.
Here is What We Do:
-Only Natural Pet tags. These tags easily attach to your dog's collar and work with the animal's natural energy field to create a barrier from insects.

-Diatomaceous earth (DE). You can apply a light dusting of food grade diatomaceous earth (DE) on your carpets, bare floors, your pet (take care not to get it in or near his eyes) and his bedding. Make sure the DE is food grade, not pool filter grade as the latter is toxic if ingested. Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring porous rock composed of the shells of diatoms, which are one-celled algae with cell walls of silica. This light-colored, porous rock forms a fine white powder when crushed. Essential Oil blends for fleas and ticks using Young Living Oils. For repelling fleas and ticks, we recommend natural essential oils. Essential oils mixed with witch hazel or water and misted or sprayed on the dog, and added to shampoo to help repel fleas and ticks. To order Young Living oils for you or your dog,
In a glass spray bottle, mix 4 oz. water with either
1. 5 drops each of Lavender, Lemongrass, and Palo Santo
2. 5 drops each of Lavender, Cedarwood, Purification, 2 drops Palo Santo
3. 5 drops each of Lemongrass, Purification and Palo Santo
