Here at So Cute Havanese, we are offering the opportunity to have one or two of our dogs before they are retired. These dogs have the pedigree, personality and qualities we want to pass on to our dogs. They are crate trained, grooming trained and house broken. As a guardian care home, you would be responsible for the dogs care but they would come back here for breeding and/or when whelping the pups and stay here until the puppies go to their new home(girls). While in the program, I can groom them and provide their food. After they are 4-5 years old and no longer in the breeding program, you would be responsible for their spay/neuter. No money is exchanged for the dog or for the puppies. You must adhere to the philosophy of So Cute Havanese. Contact me to talk about this program.

Occasionally we have adults available. I am very picky about their possible home and only place them in homes that line up with our natural philosophy. The ideal home would be a home with another of our past puppy/dog or another friendly dog, feed raw and already be acquainted with natural dog care.
Adopting a Retired Breeder Isn’t a Rescue!!!Retired breeding dogs from responsible breeders aren’t being “saved.” These dogs have been deeply loved and cared for their entire lives. They were chosen with purpose, raised with attention, and treated like family, not just breeding animals. Ethical breeders invest their hearts into these dogs: they know their personalities, their quirks, their favorite toys, and what comforts them. When a dog retires, it isn’t because they weren’t wanted. It’s because they’ve completed their role in the program, and the breeder wants them to enjoy the next chapter.

SHOW update. UKS CH SC’s Jostling Three At a Time—Josie is our newest show champion. She is on her way to making the UKC Top Ten in 2023! I am very proud of this girl and look forward to her future puppies.

We offer dog boarding for our puppy/dog owners. Our dog friends will be with our dogs, free in our home and have access to our secure, fenced in yard by way of a doggy door. Owners receive daily pictures/videos and updates. We ask that for the safety and health of our dogs, your dog isn’t in the public for 5 days prior to coming here. Those places include grooming, vet, pet shop, training class and dog parks. The fee is $40/day, not per night. Contact me for availability.
