Patty does such a wonderful job with all her pups! She is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of all her fur babies. All of our fur babies have been rescued and our last one I wanted to purchase a dog from a breeder. We have always had to work on the health of our rescues as they were rarely in good shape when we adopted them. So I began to research for a natural breeder whose views aligned with mine. I was nervous as I have never had a puppy, nor did I ever have to potty train one and this was my first little dog. I learned so much from Puppy Culture and Patty…she was always happy to take my calls and answer my questions. Patty is the best when it comes to breeding. The dogs live with her in her house, they are given love, and most importantly they are phenomenal show dogs also! You can be assured you will have one of the healthiest puppies with So Cute Havanese!

I heard about So Cute Havanese from a patient I took care of. I am so glad that I called Patty! My puppy, Gilly, is happy, loving, and healthy. Patty took the time to talk with me about everything. It is evident that Patty and her family really care about all of their dogs and puppies. The puppies are born and raised in their home. Patty and her family put their heart, time, and love into all of the puppies! It was clear that they had been well taken care of, socialized, and exposed as they could be at a young age. She came home having met all different types of people and children. Patty is fantastic to provide the families with photos, videos, and training tips. She provided us with training and grooming videos, which was much appreciated!! She truly cares for and loves the puppies. Patty has even been available for potty training advice over the phone months after adoption. Patty and her family also offer boarding for the puppies, which makes me feel comfortable, knowing she will be taken care of in a good home. Patty was so helpful connecting me with Pete, who definitely lives up to the So Cute Havanese name. I had never had a puppy and Patty's patient and thorough responses throughout the process of picking out and picking up the puppy (and beyond) were very helpful. When Pete came home, he slept through the night and was already crate=trained.

We've been blessed to get two pups from Patty. Both have been the sweetest, most loving dogs. I can't imagine my life without them. Patty was so patient and understanding when I first reached out to her inquiring about Havanese dogs. I had just lost my beloved dog 6 months prior and didn't think I was ready for a new dog or that type of breed. I have found Havanese dogs are so smart, deeply caring and very lovable. Patty took the time and really educated me about the breed and sent many videos and pictures when the first liter was born. She was very empathetic to my concerns and previous loss and helped me along the process in choosing the right puppy. I was over the moon with our first havanase, then equally as in love with our second one. They both keep me laughing when they run around the house chasing each other. They are also glued to my hip - I call them my little shadows. They lick my tears and cuddle up to me if I'm sad. So faithful and sweet. It's hard not to spoil them. My husband will jokingly say they get more attention then he does. :) They're my fur babies and it's my goal to love and protect them. That's why I feed them very healthy so they will live a long and healthy life. I can't thank Patty enough for giving me two little fur kids that I adore!

Patty also kept us current on the puppies milestones as the grew the 1st 8 weeks of their life. She also educated our family (food, veterinary care & socialization) we needed before bringing our new family member home! PLUS!!! she made videos! How to bathe, & groom our pups! SC Havanese truly has heart & passion for the breed - Patty makes herself available for questions or concerns long after your puppy comes home. Andrea said on Feb. 3,2021: I cannot believe I happened to stumble upon Patty's website very late one night. After chatting with her and feeling how much she loved her dogs, how they are part of the family, how she cares for each puppy, her research and so many years of experience, her natural ways to have healthy pups and her puppy prep - it is a dream come true. We brought Niko home in June. He was amazing! Already knowing commands, partially potty trained, so friendly and super sweet. We could not believe our luck - he was perfect! A few months later there just was not enough Niko to go around with having 5 kids so we got on the list for another and brought home Kylo in December. He is such a sweet nugget who has not had an accident since coming home and already knew commands like his big brother (who are full brothers which we love). The experience we had with all the education, no question gone unanswered, the videos, the Facebook group, the texts/emails, early training and the love and touch each puppy recieves is priceless. We are forever grateful to Patty for all she did to prepare the puppies and us!

You were always available, incredibly organized, provided helpful information and an overall gem in the process. You care so much for your puppies and taught them so much before coming to their new homes. Our puppy loved riding in cars and was already a great little walker on the leash. We have bought puppies from other breeders, but none as wonderful as you. I have to mention that this was also during covid. You set up skype meetings and always shared pictures of the puppies. I must admit that we fell in love with a puppy and we got the one we loved. We would have been happy with any of them. This truly is our favorite breed ever. Given the Pandemic, we were not able to visit her home to see the puppies, but Patty created a Facebook page for all of us to witness the pups from birth. She provided numerous live demonstrations of growth, play, feeding, crate training, toys and proper grooming and vaccinations. She answered all our questions and helped us pick a puppy that seemed to be a good fit for our family. Perhaps, the greatest gift Patty brings to the new puppies is her love of these little creatures. As a new puppy owner (newbie), Patty's support and love was invaluable. As an RN, I was extremely impressed with the biological knowledge that Patty shared. Knowing the why really matters and helps to understand approaches. Patty's continuous training during the 8-9 weeks post birth really helped to transition my pup and I am very grateful. I feel very blessed to have had a friend refer her to me.

She answered all of our questions promptly, thoroughly and with much patience both before we brought our puppy home and even in the weeks after. I remember that I called Patty the same day Nucita was born and we were the lucky ones to get her. Patty started to send us information, pictures and videos of her weekly, that was a beautiful experience, we fell in love just with that. And that show us that Patty is more that a breeder, she is a caring, amorous and special person with the dogs. She taught us everything we needed to know about how to take care of Nucita because we were new in this experience, and still she is helping us through this incredible experience. I live almost two hours away from her place but when I need to travel I bring Nucita with Patty because I know there is not a place better than So Cute Havanese. Thank you so much Patty!!!
Carol said on May 4, 2019: This was the best experience! Patty let us visit her house before we committed, which we were grateful for. Patty gave us an approximate timeframe and sent pictures of the pups when they were born. Over the next few weeks she sent pictures and videos. We had a scheduled date to pick with playtime until we decided on the pup we wanted to adopt. We scheduled a pick up date and took home our Lil Bear (Victor). Honestly, we only had one bad night and since then, he has been amazing! He sleeps through the night and is pretty much potty trained. He is full of personality. but well behaved. He loves people. Patty is professional., educational and helpful. She did an outstanding job with this little one! I am very happy with So Cute Havanese.
Michelle said on November 20, 2018: Our story for the perfect Havanese Breeder started 5 years ago when our first beloved Havanese dog passed away at the age of 13. I found Patty online, and we went to meet her in her home. After learning about how she raises the pups naturally, and prepares them to be pets, I knew I wanted to get our pup from her if we could do it. The timing did not work out that first time, as we wanted to bring a pup in when she did not have pups available. We ended up using a breeder that we did not have the same confidence in, simply due to timing. We got our dog and of course, he became a member of our family. He was a great dog, but very difficult to train and his breeder never responded to us after we took the dog home. In fact, she wanted nothing to do with us after she took our money. Then, over the next 4 years I watched Patty’s Facebook page. I watched her clients all sending photos and updates to her about their pups and their experiences with Patty. I watched Patty share their updates with excitement because she still cares about the dogs after they leave her home. I could not help but see that there is something very special going on between Patty and all of the dogs that she brings into the world. She is not just a breeder. She truly loves each and every pup. When my mom considered getting a dog, I sent her to Patty. My mom came home a few weeks later with one of Patty’s most precious little pups who has been the absolute joy of my mom’s life. This little dog was literally sent from heaven for my mom to love. The next time I was ready for a dog, I KNEW I had to get one of Patty’s pups. I sent in a deposit and eagerly awaited news of a litter. Over time, I received emails when the pups were born, and weekly photos of the pups as they grew. Then, came choosing day, and we went to Patty’s home. Patty helped to guide us to the most perfect puppy I could ask for. In fact, I was struggling between two dogs and she helped me figure out which pup would best fit our family’s lifestyle, based on what she could tell about their temperaments. At 8 weeks old, we brought home Cooper. He slept through the night in his crate, from 10pm-6am on the very first night. We were amazed by this. In fact, Cooper has never waken us up at night since coming home. I am sure this is because of the schedule that Patty sets for the pups as they are in her home. He is now 7 months old and fully potty trained, incredibly smart, and absolutely the best dog we’ve welcomed into our home. We look forward to many years with this dog. I continue to share updates with Patty and she is always happy to see them. It is very special to have a relationship with a breeder who loves your dog as much as you do. I cannot recommend Patty and So Cute Havanese enough as a responsible, ethical, caring and informative breeder.

My breeder has wonderful puppies, don't get me wrong, and I love my Havanese, Javier, to the moon and back, but my breeder has never ONCE followed up on Javier and how he is doing nor do they seem to care about staying in contact with their pup owners. They do not educate on holistic methods like vax options, raw diet, or things like using essential oils. I have had no communication with them at all since I got Javier. Who raises beautiful puppies and then after they go to their forever homes never communicates with you? So sad. Patty Jicha is just the opposite. She truly cares where her puppies go and wants to know how they are doing and wants to teach you best practices to keep them healthy and striving. She wants you to stay in touch. That is the kind of breeder you want to get your Havanese from!! SoCute is the best!!

Patty is a wonderful breeder. So has so much love for all the puppies that she raises and wants to make sure that when they leave with their new families that they are ready for the transition to their new homes and lives. With so many beautiful puppies it was hard to pick one from the litter, but Patty even helped to guide us to select the puppy that was right for us when we were torn on which puppy to choose! We were new dog owners and had lots of questions and Patty gave us wonderful advice and was very patient. We love that she has a holistic approach and her Facebook posts are very helpful and give great tips on care for Havanese. My dogs from the past always had accidents.. not my Dexter. He is loving and he has a personality that is so fun. All my guests fall in love with him. First, Patty spent time up front discussing our goals for adopting a puppy to our family. Second, Patty is an involved breeder. She asked great questions, invited us to her home, and sent photos and videos of the puppies. The best part of our experience was the adoption process. From picking up our puppy to integration into our home, the process has been seamless. We have not had any issues. Brian & Sarah said on April 25th, 2016: We brought our puppy, Piper, home two weeks ago and I cannot believe what a great experience it has been so far! From the first night home Piper has been sleeping in her pen/crate through the night without crying and without an accident! We were dreading the first nights/weeks at home, but she has been amazing and we are so lucky to have a puppy that can sleep through the night from day one. We have three young boys (ages 6, 8 and 11) at home and Piper is so tolerant of them – they pick her up and snuggle her and toss balls for her and hug her… she just allows it all with a wagging tail. She is so friendly and loving and it goes to show how well she was cared for and loved at Patty’s! It has been only two weeks but already it feels like Piper was always part of our family. We are so very lucky to have found Patty and her Havanese.

Because I am very allergic to most dogs, she allowed me to do a trial visit to spend an hour with her dogs to see if it would be okay before I brought my daughter out. My daughter has wanted a dog for her whole life! Once we decided to adopt a puppy from Patty, Patty sent my daughter regular updates and pictures (which always made her day). When we brought our puppy home, it went better than we could have expected. He was already crate trained and paper trained--he has always slept through the night without trouble. My friends who have had puppies who warned me about how hard it was going to be can't believe it! He is also already very well-socialized. It is clear that he was so well-loved and cared for before he joined our family. We are thrilled and so grateful.

We have three Cavalier King Charles (that are crate-trained). Absolutely love having dogs around me 24/7. At the end of July, our beloved 6 year old Havanese, (not one from Patty) Marco was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). With a huge hole in our hearts, we knew that Marco would want us to share all the love we gave him with another.....that's when Patty of So Cute Havanese entered our lives.I filled out the form, and was impressed that she immediately responded. We spoke on the phone. She was understanding and full of compassion. We decided to take a drive for a visit to see where our potential new baby would be coming from. The minute we entered we knew without a doubt that these dogs were loved and well taken care of and that every member of the family was an integral part of their lives, without hesitation we put our deposit down, and were put on the wait list. Over the course of time, I was questioning/researching what caused Marco's IMHA and read and read about vaccines. You see, I, like most of you reading this thought I was doing the right thing, taking my dog to the vet for his regular shots, applying the frontline so he didn't get fleas/ticks, giving him the heart worm pill monthly. Little did I know that I may have aided in his passing by doing the "right thing" by loading his small body up with toxins. So, after months of reading and discussions, my husband and I have decided that Kevin will not be vaccinated and will be fed a raw diet. Before you judge, read up on it, when you do you'll see that it makes complete sense. We all have choices, WE are choosing to raise Kevin as naturally as possible because we believe that it is what will keep him healthiest and live a long life with us. Patty is a wealth of knowledge and has firsthand experience raising her puppies this way. I believe our paths have crossed for a reason and that reason was Kevin. Many, many thanks to Patty who pours her heart, soul & love into making sure our new fur babies get the best start in life, the rest is up to us.
Sharon G said on January 2nd, 2015: Everyone who meets our Coco calls her the "happy dog". She is cheerful, fun, spirited, loving, and easy to live with. When we got her at 9 weeks she happily went into her crate (Patty crate-trains) and to this day she loves to go into her crate (or any other, for that matter). She slept through that first night, and every night since, without so much as a whimper (Patty's crate-training methods are effective!). She has never had an accident in her crate (Patty says this is one benefit of the crate-training). Coco plays with her big dog "cousin", her medium dog "cousin" and dog friends, as well as with us, with our grandchildren, or by herself. (Patty's puppies are socialized to be with their dog family and their human family from their birth, and the loving care they receive from Patty and her children is evident in their winning confident personality). Coco quickly learned no - no bark, no jump (Patty showed us how to discipline effectively without being harsh). (And Coco has learned how to communicate - I don't know who taught her that! But Patty "listens" to the needs and wants of her dogs). That Patty enjoys each of her dogs and puppies is quite evident. We have loved all of Patty's help, her instructional booklet, and tips on the care of her puppies. But most of all we have cherished the rich and special beginning she gives to each of her puppies, going the extra mile to ensure success in a puppy's moving into his/her family. If you get one of Patty's pups, you are indeed fortunate.
Eileen M said on October 9th, 2014: What can I say that will do Patty justice! She is an amazing breeder, who truly cares about all her puppies and only wants the best for them. While I had a dog in the past this was my first puppy, and Patty really walked me through everything! I was truly set up for success! In fact I still run important questions past her as she has a wealth of knowledge. Her puppies are perfect, healthy and they come with such great personalities! I got Hudson from Patty in February of 2014 for a few months we lived in downtown Chicago, and Hudson adapted to the city like a champ. In September we moved to Phoenix and have been living in a hotel until our house closes. I was a little worried about this transition and was prepared for the worst (regression of potty habits etc) but he is doing so well! He makes friends with all the hotel guests and everyone comments on how happy he is. I couldn't ask for a better puppy! thank you Patty!!

My boyfriend and I were looking to get a small, hypoallergenic puppy and she helped answer all of our questions when we were still looking at a few different breeds. After seeing how well cared for all of the dogs in her home are and learning more about the breed, it was a very easy decision. We've had Maverick home for almost a week now and can't even remember what it was like without him here! :) Patty and her family did an awesome job taking care of him before we were finally able to bring him home! Pat I said on September 11th, 2013: My husband Jeff and I bought our little havanese girl in February. She was only 9 days old. We had to wait two long months to bring our Starr home. Patty was so nice and invited us to visit her and we sure did. It was so much fun to visit her and see her brothers and sisters and all the Havanese in the house. What a great place for a puppy to start out life. The dogs were all a part of the family. After losing our 147 year old dog the thought of starting with all the puppy training was going to be a challenge. We are so excited to bring her home and very much surprised that this little puppy was kennel trained and paper trained. She fit in perfect. We got to have all the fun without all the work. She went potty outside right away and honestly was totally trained by 5 months. Even before had just a few accidents in the house and all of those were people faults not doggie faults. She is such a character...She is always entertaining. She loves to jump in our bushes and flowers. She makes everyday something new for us. She is sweet and loving. I think the start she had at your house Patty, made her life star perfect. I love my havanese Starr. The havanese breed is wonderful but Patty you have raised her right from day one with love and teaching. I also love that I can call you and I do when I have any questions. We have found the perfect Havanese puppy! We adopted "Seymour" from your litter born 2/16/12. Seymour is the chocolate puppy at the top of this page. We love him! Seymour is almost 11 months old now and doing very well. Since the day he was born we followed his growth via telephone, website and visits. He is sweet, well behaved and very loving, It only took a couple of days to be fully house trained thanks to all the work you and your family invested in his training. The vet says he is very healthy and of very good breeding. Thank you very much for the wonderful start in life you and your family gave to Seymour.
